Do you have a tree "look"? All matching ornaments and such? Or do you have a hodgepodge of stuff that you made, bought, got as gifts, etc. ?

i have had a general theme of penguins and santa claus that had a baby blue background..and then white lights. since we are getting a much bigger tree this year, i will have to go a different route unless i can find the same exact ornaments. my anal retentiveness would prefer an all matching tree, but i dont know if that will work this year.

We have a hodgepodge tree.

I love each ornament - well almost each one - and a lot of them were made by Seth during his early intervention years and they are precious.

LOL...I guess ours is a hodgepodge tree as well. I have numerous ornaments of the milestones in our lives(bridal ornament when we got married, ornament of a door for when we moved in the house, ornament of a dog when we got Pepper, baby's first xmas', etc...) I do have gen. glass ornaments that dont have any special meaning as well...and some that I bought from Xmas stores that was sparkly and very expensive..all the fragile ones are out of reach of little hands.

We have matching sets and a few personal ones. One set is garnet and gold, but Dh told me a couple of years ago that he really likes blue & gold, so we did that last year. We have a few Miami Dolphins ones that Dh has gotten as gifts, a couple of Texas themed ones (Dh's home state), one w/a picture of our dog, one that says "our 1st Christmas." I am going to go out soon to get the "baby's 1st christmas"
