Default Chicken pox vaccine

First of all, I know this is debated on a lot but I have some serious questions.

1. Is this a state mandated vaccine?
2. Do you kids have to have this to enter public schools?
3. Did you get it for you kids?
4. Did they get the chicken pox or shingles or anything even after having the shot?
5. Did they feel bad or get sick after the actual injection?

Thanks in advance...please kind and don't debate...

Brandi, my kids have all had it (the vaccine) and I went and got it (and the booster) within the last month. I have never had CP and neither has DH. They didn't seem to have any trouble afterwards and didn't get shingles or a mild case of CP. I asked the Dr when I got mine if it would cause me to get them and she said if I did it would be so much milder than it would if I got it full fledged. It is scary for adults to get it. It wasn't bad at all. It wasn't one that hurt either.
