Real or fake? Real.

What height do you normally buy? If you have a fake one, how tall is it? We have 8' ceilings so we make it just fit.

What type of tree? I don't know what kind of trees we buy--but we've been shopping in the "cheap" section of the farms and get great looking trees for $20 or less!

That's the right type of tree for me!!

Whether you have a real or a fake one, is it flocked? Nope, not flocked.

Do you have a special/passed down tree skirt? I made a tree skirt when we were first married, so we use that.

Fake tree, and it's small- like 6 feet because we bought it when we lived on the 3rd floor of an apartment building and I'm too cheap to buy a bigger one. I talk about hitting the 50% off sale every year but decide the size is fine by the end of the season.

It's nothing special, green, generic type.

Fake tree- I grew up with real trees, but moved to a fake tree once we moved here from CA. We used to go out to this farm just outside our hometown.

They grow Monterrey Pines- I miss doing that, but the one time we tried to cut our own here in TX, it just wasn't the same.

Anyway- our tree is about 7ft tall, green with hints of brown and pre-lit with white lights- just take out of the box, assemble, fluff it up a bit and it's ready to go.

Not sure what variety it's supposed to be.

The tree skirt- used to be a crocheted table cloth I picked up in Mexico on our honeymoon, but I bought a new one last year at Target on clearance after Christmas.

My mom whacked the skirt off her wedding dress (she had a poofy, lacy dress) and uses that as her tree skirt.

She says this way, she gets to enjoy it every year instead of it being all boxed up under her bed.

Real or fake? Fake. I used to always buy real but I'd be the one who had to clean up the mess...besides I"m paranoid about fire so I feel its safer.

What height do you normally buy? If you have a fake one, how tall is it? I think its 6"

Whether you have a real or a fake one, is it flocked? No flocked.

Do you have a special/passed down tree skirt? I have a pretty one I love that I bought at Big Lots! But its usually covered up so its not something I would care about anyway.

Real or fake? We have gone back and forth, but I agree the experience of cutting it down is priceless - I am thinking real this year The fake one we have is prelit with both colored and white and you can choose which you want or both. DUMB A** cat killed the colored lights in the back on the bottom section, though.

What height do you normally buy? 7 feet maybe - tall enough but with room to fit the finniel (sp?) If you have a fake one, how tall is it? The fake one is 7 1/2 I believe

What type of tree? no clue what we buy

Whether you have a real or a fake one, is it flocked? God no!

Do you have a special/passed down tree skirt? I made one with gingerbread men on it, but it is falling appart and the cat eats the decorations on it. When the cat is no longer in existence or I can find one that can be washed that I like, I will get a new one.
