you ladies crack me up!

We get our daycare provider a nice big gift for Christmas/her birthday (Dec 26)/end of the year. Last year I got her some Christmas dishes and a gift certificate to her nail place. Not sure about this year yet. I think another gift certificate to the spa is what she needs!

I am a high school teacher, so I don't really get gifts, but most teachers get gifts for the secretaries in my school. I stopped doing the mug/small gift thing too and I usually get nail salon gc's or gc's to starbucks/dunkin donuts/etc. I figure at least it is something useful.

I would seriously sh!t my pants if I received a gift for over a hundred dollars. I'd need to ask for depends to go with it. The school just one town over is like that. That's awesome!

Anyway, we'll do something small for his school. Probably a handmade card and some super-cool supplies that she'd never buy for the class herself but would love for them to have. I did that for my foster daughter's teacher and when she runs into me she still talks about it.

I do for two teachers and a para pro that I've worked with for 4 years. Courts 1st grade teacher and para pro and her current teacher will get a gift too. I also do for my best friends that I know through her little girlfriends as well.
