I'm the odd man out. I think it's rude for someone to ask you who you voted for. I think if it's a person you normally discuss issues/politics with than that's one thing, but otherwise it's nobody's business. (And I'm talking real life here- not in an online community where you're chatting about anything and everything).

Well I guess I should say--- I don't think it's taboo to say who you voted for but I think it's taboo for someone to come out and ask.

I think it's odd to ask someone but I don't think it's odd to offer information.

My grandmother is so offended if I ask about how she voted. I don't know about the rest of my family--I don't usually ask them.

I have no problem talking about how I voted.

i don't think it's taboo per se, but we do vote in private. shouldn't be anything wrong with asking, but don't get offended if someone declines to answer. and i don't think people should get offended by the question, if you don't want to say, then don't.

people are weird.
