very rarely. DH works some nights plus he snores so bad that I have always had to go to bed first get half hour sleep then he is can come to bed

he is a bit of a night owl anyway so he only grumbles just to wind me up. the times he does come to bed with me (when he has an early start) I can't sleep because he falls fast asleep and starts snoring straight away so I end up tossing and turning :hairpull:

No. I need some alone time before falling asleep. If he's in bed I usually read in the LR for a while. If he's elsewhere I'll watch tv in bed.

If we are both home, we go to bed together. If he is closing, I usually go to sleep before he gets home...

I usually stay up later than she does, but I really try to make it a point to go to bed with her at least 50% of the time.

my mom used to have an absolute COW when I was a teen and she didn't get to go to bed with my step-dad.
It was like she waited on him and when he was ready, then she was ready. She never had an independant thought of her own as to when to go to bed. I thought it was a bit on the ... uhhhh... codependant side back when I was a teen.

Now that I'm married, I used to go to bed with DH for the most part before kids... but it was usually the decsion of both of us that we were ready. Neither was 'waiting' for the other.
Now DH and I really just do what we please with no thought of the other

sometimes I'm working on the computer and it's late. Sometimes, he's at the gym late and I just HAVE to go to bed. Sometimes I stay up to watch a dumb TV show

but each of us goes to bed on our own when we're ready without 'waiting' for the other. I was feeling slightly guilty about it ... but not now!
