Ours is sage green and it does get dirty. We bought a new Rug Doctor from Craiglist because we were tired of renting it several times/year. So when it gets dirty, we just shoot it with that and it's all better.

we have wood in our den, which is our living area. our living room is small and closed off and is being used as the baby's room until we can get to 2 youngest sleeping through the night as to not wake each other.
we have only have carpet in the bedrooms and that living room, and i want to change it or put wood eventually (leaning more towards wood since Zachary has Asthma).

Ours is beige in our living room and no, we can't keep it clean. We already ripped up the carpet in the dining room and all the bedrooms and put down laminate, now we are going to do the living room. Not sure what I'm going to do with the loft when the time comes.
