when I was in the 2nd grade, I fell on a metal janitor's bucket and split my lip in 1/2. The Drs at the hospital refused to sew me up and sent me over to a special plastic surgeon to do the job.

Then, last year (or maybe it was 2 years ago) I had plastic surgery on my nose to try and fix my deviated septum. The middle between my 2 nostrils was extremely noticibly 'off' and the Dr did a small effort to make it look more normal and even by shaving off some bone without compromising the structural integrety yada yada. While the surgery was a success, it was not a complete success. I have restored airflow to my one nostril but not complete airflow restoration -- it's better than it was so I'm not complaining. The looks...

well, it barely changed how my nose looked. Not to anyone but someone who studied my nostrils to begin with anyway

oh, and I've had my 2 wisdom teeth removed also (at different times). But that's not really cosmetic surgery.

I had nose surgery but it was all on the inside so it doesn't show. Too bad because I have a big honker!

I'd get liposuction in a heartbeat if I knew it would work and last but I know it doesn't. Other than that I wouldn't get anything done because I am afraid of anesthesia now.

i had a bunion removed, but i don't think that's really cosmetic--the bump is gone but i have a huge scar.

...and wisdom teeth, i had them all removed at once, with local anesthetic, because i had a general anesthetic when i had my bunion removed, and i was afraid to 'go under' again. i was lucky because the teeth had all grown in straight (there just wasn't quite enough room for them) so the doctor could just yank them out. painless!
