My kids do love cereal and I haven't done that in awhile.

Keep em coming ladies! These are great suggestions and none are overly expensive.

my kids love spinach and mozzarella cheese ravioli (frozen section, costco), tuna casserole, boiled or fried egg over rice, veggie miso soup (it's really quite easy, but i don't suppose you can get miso easily?)....hm. the egg and rice thing is quite popular here. with veggies (carrots, tomatoes and avocado are my kids' favorites, green leafy veggies not so much, although my kids LOVE coleslaw!) i think my kids are doing pretty good. how about a waldorf salad? or an apple, walnut and mayonnaise salad (simple waldorf?)

how about some rolls ups..

use tortillas..wrap wahtever they like in them...ham/cream cheese, tuna, bologna, pb & J..really anything..

I don't make "kid food" for dinner. I can't eat some things b/c i'm a diabetic and we like to eat healthy so my kids are forced to eat whatever I make

Susan, are you at home by yourself with the kids at night? When I cooked for myself and dh the kids ate what I made or they didn't eat... but that seems silly when I'm the only one eating.

We had worked out that we would take turns cooking and eating the "real meal" of the day with the kids, but I am so busy in the evenings. I'm not sure what to do.
