this really isnt a question, but more of a statement...I was very surprised at the prices of legos! this is the first year ds expressed an interest in them and he asked for some kind of pirate ship..i searched for it and its $89! he better play with this thing until he is 30

oh, OT, but anyone who may be searching for another gift for their sons might be interested in the new night vision goggles..they are $69 and i have read a lot of feedback at how well they work. that was another requested item from Santa this year.

I think he's nearly ready to part with his toys and let them play with them under supervision

Yeah!! They're REEEAALLLY expensive!! We have a Lego store in the mall & I'm always AMAZED at how much the sets are!!

They sell 2 different boxes of lego "guys" (and girls) and their accessories. I think there were about 30 guys in each box and they went for over $40/box!!
.... so I bought 15+ Lego guys & accessories off of EBay

They are definitly expensive, but well worth the money!! Luckily, my children have the legos that my brothers and I played with as children. They also get new ones for Xmas each year and they have honestly been the best toys we have invested in.
