We are set at about 64 but if REALLY cold we may up it to 66 - 68. My older DS room is the furthest from the system and it's hard because his room is the coldest (he also has two exterior walls) and by the time the heat hits it - the house is regulated and it shuts off. He has thermal sheets, blankets and PJ's on so he's ok plus he's a hot child.

We're much higher than that 71 at the lowest. It just depended on the kid in our case. Josh liked being all warm and snuggly and Matthew likes letting it all hang out. He's fine in a sleeper.

Have you thought of getting one of those arm's reach co-sleepers, that attaches right to your bed? If I had another kid I think I would invest in one of those. I swore I would never put my kids in bed with me but with Josh-- I did it a lot. Matthew not as much because he was rolling over at a couple months and would roll onto his stomach and scoot around.

Good luck.
