We have no peanut restrictions in any of the 3 different schools my kids are at.

Yes they are all 3 in different schools.

We are told no fast food (some people were buying McD's and putting it in the lunches

) and no soda's. They can have Little Debbies and other homemade things like cookies and brownies but no candy at all. Birthdays we're allowed to bring in cupcakes or whatever we choose as long as it's right after lunch.

We're a peanut free school- well, we're supposed to be, but I'm not sure how many people follow that. I send Sunbutter & Jelly sandwiches for Jacob.

Oh, no soda or gum in packed lunches. We are allowed to bring in fast food (including soda- go figure) if we eat with the child.

Birthday treats have to be store bought- cookies or cupcakes and only passed out at lunch.

We have 2 parties per year- winter and Valentines day. We get an "approved food list" and it has to be stuff from that list. Oh- and no strawberries.

I know I don't have kids in school yet but my co-workers were talking about the restrictions they have and it is unreal. No sodas, no peanut anything, no sweets of anytype (candy bar, homemade stuff, little debbies, nothing!), no cupcakes or anything like that for parties. It's unreal at what they can't take....
