Default school lunches

Is there a restriction on what you can and cannot send your child to eat at lunch? (Be it at daycare, school, etc..)

We haven't had to pack lunches yet since Sarah is only in kindergarten, but I know that the main restriction is no soda.

there are no restrictions on what you can pack in our public school district, but they do request that you don't pack peanut and nut items because there are other kids who may sit next to your child.
I don't think anyone ever pays attention to that request, though, because everyone sends whatever they want anyway. I'd say over 50% of the kids in our school eat sack lunches.

Yep, we aren't supposed to send soda either. I send juice boxes w/ Garrett.

No restrictions here. I was never told no soda but wouldn't send it anyway.
