It's been ahwile for me, but I would just follow his lead, if he's showing interest and is enjoying the food, then giving it to him at lunch won't hurt.

I also follow Baby's lead. If he seems interested in eating more often, give it a whirl. What can it hurt?

i asked this very question today at the pediatrican's office. she said that feeding should be a social thing and when we sit down to eat we should provide lola with something. if she takes it fine, if not then fine.

im going to try that out today and see how she does.

I know with both of my kids, if they were awake & saw us eating, they'd WANNA EAT TOO!!

I'd ask the doc about the Yo Baby yogurt (and cheese, etc) 'cause I can't remember the "dairy is OK" age??

But sure... let him nibble at lunchtime too!! As long as he's still drinking the amount of formula/BM the ped wants him to drink... I'd say go for it.

Diane, the info I have says yogurt/cheese/cottage cheese are ok at 9 months and milk at a year.
