Default boy and girl name dilemma

Hello, thought I had already posted this. Will try again. I am due in November we don't want to find out the sex. So we will need to come up with both boy and girl name. I like unique names, but don't want to inflict an oddball name. Middle name will be family names Elisabeth or Bell for a girl James or Jackson for a boy. Although I thought James might be a cute girls middle, or is that to weird?? Here are some of the ones we like
Boys- Graham James
2.Lathan James
3. Gray James
4. Sterling Jackson-both hubby family names
5. Tegan James
Girl Names
1. Grayley Bell
2. Grayley James??
3. Scarlett Elisabeth
4. Ellen Elisabeth
5. Tallis Bell
6. Chase Ellen
Please be brutally honest.better to hear it now than them deal with it later

I'm not the one to ask, because I like traditional names or at least ones that people have heard before. My name is Jeanne--- which is actually not all that "out there" and it's constantly brutalized. I'm a teacher too, and I know how a name can give a neutral or negative impression. I don't do it, but you know how people can be when reading over job applications, etc.

I like Chase Ellen- but I'd actually spell it Chayse-- a little more feminine looking.

I like Scarlett Elisabeth too.

For the boy, I like Jackson Sterling--- I know that's not one of the choices lol, but that's waht I like from the names you listed.

With a name like "gray" I think people will constantly think it's a typo and call the kid "Gary."

Good luck, congrats, and welcome!

I never thought of the Gary thing...Jeanne is probably right.

I like Scarlett for a girl, too. And I also like Jeanne's suggestion of Jackson Sterling. I've only heard Tegan as a girl name (spelled Teagan). The girl I know named that has a brother named Declan. That's an unusual name, too.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to TBC!

I also like traditional names. Of your boy names, I like Graham James and Sterling Jackson. Gray and Lathan don't do anything for me, and Tegan is a name I think of as a girl's.

Of your girl names, I LOVE Scarlett Elisabeth. That is just beautiful. Ellen is just ok, and Grayley, Chase and Tallis sound like boy names to me.

I like Tegan for a girl.

I don't like James at all for a girl's middle name.

I love Jackson for a boy & I've seen it spelled Jaxon which I thought was pretty. I also like Gray but I like it spelled Grey better.

Good luck! You have a few months if you're anything like me you;ll change your mind a dozen times before then!
