  • Ok, we are having a baby girl (yea!)
My Mom's name is Shelby & I always wanted to name a baby girl after her. I am not sure if I want to call the baby Shelby but I don't think it can be used as a middle name. So it will probably be her 1st name and she will go by her middle name if we don't call her Shelby. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, DH & I are stumped!!!! Here is what I have on my short (LONG) list so far. What do you guys think about what we have so far or do you have other suggestions? It was much easier naming our boys!! Last name starts with a D and is 2 syllables.

    Shelby Anne
    Shelby Lane
    Shelby Jordan
    Shelby Paige
    Shelby Abigail
    Shelby Grace
    Shelby Morgan
    Shelby Emerson
    Shelby Brynn
    Shelby Lauren
    Shelby Brooke

  • I really like Emerson Shelby M. That's a cute name!! And you'd get around the issue of calling her by her middle name, etc.

Have you tried changing the names around? Lauren Shelby==CUTE! Morgan Shelby==CUTE!

Try that out and see if anything sticks.
