• We love the name Madeline, said "madalynn", but really like the traditional spelling.
If you see Madeline, do you automatically think Madaline (said "line")????
Any suggestions on other spellings we might like??
Thanks everyone!

• I love the name too, I do tend to think Made (line) spelled that way, I think I would personally spell it Madelyn so that people understand how it is meant to be, but if you love the traditional spelling, family and friends will know it and other people you meet if they make a mistake once, correct them and hopefully it doesn't happen often!

• I think of the pronunciation "Madalynn" no matter how it's spelled. I don't really think that name gets pronounced "MadeLINE" very often. I prefer the traditional spelling too.
