Default Madelyn or Madeline

Hi all,

We just started trying for our third baby, but we have been thinking of names for a year already! We are thinking of Madeline for a girl. Do you like it? And if so, do you prefer Madelyn or Madeline? We want it pronounced "Mad-eh-lynn". Would you prefer having to correct the way people pronounce your name or the way people spell your name?

Thanks!!

I agree with the above; adding that extra 'N" will ensure it is also pronouced correctly.

I dont think adding an n will make a difference... Madeline is the 1 that will get pronounced wrong... Since it might be pronounced with a long I sound... My name is Shauna and I would rather Ppl say it right and misspell it...and they usually do... Shawna...Shanna etc.
