Does anyone else HATE it when you have a name you like and then you run into someone who has a cat, dog, or bratty child who is named that and then you can't stand the name anymore?

Case in point... I LOVE the name Samantha BUT my cat's name is Sam (DH named him) also, DH LOVES the name Zachary but my old cats name is that. (We have a "thing" about real names for pets apparently)

Another example. I work at a school. There is a little child by the first name of Caleb. I LOVE Caleb the name but as soon as I say it I think of that naughty little kid who runs around saying F-you and other such F-bombs!

We love the name Samuel for a boy, but my sister is Samantha (Sam) and she is a big idiot, so that's a no go!

I do it all the time, alot of my favorite names I've associated with idiots I've come across throughout my life!

I love the name Isabelle, but my cousin named their dog Isabelle- she is a boxer...

See what I mean? I just hate it when there is that "thing" that makes you wanna gag when you hear a name you used to love! But I'm glad I'm not the only one that does it!
