Default Name Dilemma

Hi everyone,
So, after having a miscarriage in August, I just took a pregnancy test and it was positive! I have a two year old daughter named Avery Elizabeth, and am looking for names to go with that. As of now I am pretty set on Kinley for a girl. I have loved Beckett for a boy name for a year or so, but just found out that an old classmate of mine just named her son that. Needless to say I was sick to my stomach to read that on facebook and was wondering if I could still use the name if I do have a son. Would love to hear your opinions and other boy name possibilities that are similiar to Beckett. Thanks!!

I think Kinley is pretty. Um, a boy name like Breckett? Brock? I went to school with a Barrett; I like that name.

Welcome and congratulations! I would think that if this old classmate of yours isn't too close by or you don't see her very much that you could use the name. Kinley is very pretty! Come and join us on the due date boards!

I imagine that you don't even live in the same area as the old classmate so the chances of your kids going to school together are slim. Let alone being in the same class which is about the only place where multiple children with the same name gets confusing

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Kinley is a cute name!

If you hadn't seen that old friend on Facebook, you'd have no way of knowing that she had named her baby Beckett so don't let that stop you. It's a great name and unless you're going to be gathering with this friend for monthly family dinners, there's no need to change your name choice.
