Exclamation Need help with a baby girl name.

Im pregnant with my first, we dont want to no weather its a boy or girl yet, and we had no problem figuring out a boys name. The girls name on the other hand has been difficult. We've narrowed it down to eight (i know thats not very narrow) we want a name that isnt extreamly common but wont give the kid trouble while in school either. I have no idea what to use as a middle name either, so any ideas would be great!! The last name is Frew. And just in case your curious if its a boy the name will be Elijah Darrell

1. Alyssa
2. Kadence
3. Whitney
4. Audrey
5. Ashlin
6. Madison
7. Savannah
8. Amber

several of those names are fairly popular...
Alyssa, Kadence, Maddison, Ashlin (or ashlyn)
Ashlin is increasingly popular (several in my DD's class as well as my DS's class)

I know a few Savannah's (who are quite young) too but still think it's a lovely and not too common name.
Whitney Audry and amber are all less common names.

Personally, I'd go for Whitney.

How about family names? anyone you'd like to honor with the gift of a namesake?

I'd go for Audrey, Amber, or Alyssa. But that's because I like semi-common, slightly traditional names that everyone knows how to pronounce (having my name said wrong for 31 years will do that to ya!)

Ashlin and Madison are very trendy and popular right now, so I'd probably not choose those.

I'd not go for Whitney, only because I think it's the least flattering (of the choices you gave) with your last name. I wouldn't choose Kadence, only because I know what a "cadence" is and all I think about is drums when I hear that name

. But if you didn't have that connection, I think it's a pretty name too.

BUT with all that said, this is YOUR baby and you should name it whatever you want!! Good luck and congrats!

I like Audrey too - it's quite traditional with only one real way to spell it, and I think it's beautiful. I like Audrey Elizabeth as a combination with your last name. I think you'll end up with your child being one of many if you choose Madison, and I think you'll run into spelling issues with several of the others. My second choice would be Amber.
