I like Brody better, as it will probably not me mispronounced. Jacoby can be sounded out more than one way and your son may spend his entire life correcting people! (Jack-a bee, ja KO bee, etc) Believe me-it is annoying! I have been correcting people about my formal first name forever!
If you like Jacoby, what about just Coby or Jacob?

If you named him Jacob, you could call him Jacoby as a nickname. I like Brady better than Brody but that's because I have a kid named Brady, lol. I love Jacob, not so much Jacoby.
