Default Meanings?

Does anyone else really like names with meaning behind them, whether its personal or what the "name books" say it means?

Hubby and I are looking at naming our first son Nolan Randall because Nolan is a baseball name (hubbys BIG into baseball) and Randall is my FIL who passed away last week.

I guess I'm just sentimental like that... Does anyone else do that?

Sure. We're going to name our little boy Marek Paul. Marek is a Slovak name my husband picked because there are a couple of pro hockey players with that name. Paul is for Paul Konerko, the first baseman on the White Sox (our team).

Glad I'm not the only one with a "baseball" themed name! I think my mom thinks I'm nuts for even liking the idea of Nolan but the more I repeat the name the more I love it and sadly, its the only name (boy or girl) that DH & I have totally 100% agreed on...
