Yup, we thought about all sorts of names and found many reasons not to use all of them!

Yes I do! Before me and hubby found out we were having a boy I loved Chloe for a girls name, but I had a dog with that name once! And I like Jordan for a boys middle name, but again old dogs name!

I taught Pre-K for 10yrs... and TONS of names had personalities (both positive & negative) already attached... so I didn't want to use them.
Wesley & Andre
are my boys names... I'd never known anybody with those names before I NAMED my kids that!

PS for waitingon#2: my cat is named Chloe & when one of my friends was pregnant she told me she LOVED the name Chloe, but could never name her child Chloe since she'll always think of Chloe as a CAT (she ended up having boys anyways).

I knew a cat named Chloe once to. LOL My cat is named Kayla and she's about 16 now. I thought at the time I was giving her an original name. Crazy it turned out to be such a popular girls name. It took some getting used to because I never knew it as a people name before I used it on a cat.
