Atianna needs to say hello
Default Names you have never heard of!!!!

I wanted your opinions on a couple of things. I chnaged my own name that I have hated since I wasa little girl. I know some might think its nice, or so on, but Im really not interested in those comments because the name is done and over with. I finally got the courage to change my name legally and I am so excited. I was in court today and did it!!! I was known as Natalie Ann (the middle name no one even knew about) and now my name is Atianna Arabelle!!! what do you guys think, what comes to mind when you see tgis name, and what feelings to you get. Also say it oit loud and tell me how it sounds...please give me details as to what you experience.Alson my nick name would be "Ati" , pronounced "Autee"...how does the nickname sound when you say it out loud, what feeling do you get...do you have other options I can play with but I love the nickname so much, its one of the reasons I picked the name. Ati was a nickname of the classiest woman I met.Itys the nickname to a different name though that starts the same.

The second thing is that i changed my 6 month old daughters name today too...not much but the changes are there. She was named Jasmine (first name) Anais (middle name), today we changed it to... Jasmine-Anais (first name) and Cynthia as her middle name. Please give me detalied comments on what you think when you hear the name. She will go by Jasmine-Anais or Jasmine, cynthia is there for special reasons. I nicknamed her MiMi...thats what I tell freinds and family to call her.

Remember I want very detailed commenst, I like feedaback. I want to know what my name sends out to people....and Mimi's too!

Anyhow, your name is very unique and its cool you liked it enough to change it! I too, like unique names, but usually end up coming back to the semi-common ones. I am Holly, my DD is Mariah. Both names are known, but not overused. So I love 'em both

Your DD has a beautiful name! How do you pronounce Anais? And I think its wonderful you added Cynthia if its special to you

Thanks...my name you would say Au-tee-aunna...my daughters name you would say Ah-nah-ees, its french. I hate the name natalie, people say it weird and its kinda hard to rolloff the tounge. I have really bad associations with it so I a, so glad to have dropped it. I went by Natasha at home because natasha is the russian form to Natalie, but legally at work anmd business I had to go by natalie and it made me crazy. Natasha is nice but I wanted something different, something that I feel fits with who I am and thats Atianna Arabelle

Your new name is very pretty. It doesn't bring a lot of associations for me, but it sounds classic and timeless to me.

I just wanted to say congrats on taking the plunge and changing a name you disliked. My mom named me Ruth Helen, and while I have nothing against either name, neither one ever felt like a fit for me. A friend nicknamed me Rudi when I was 13, and I've used that name ever since. I changed it legally 16 years ago, and have never regretted it.
