Personally, I try to name my children names that I feel would lend to being a professional. I ask myself. Would a president be named ______ ? Does it sound 'presidential'?


So for me, eventhough Kinsey sounds great, I would not choose that name because that doesn't sound professional to me. Neither does Allie. (which sounds like a nick name)

I think whatever your heart think is the best name for your baby should be the one you choose. When Charlotte was born, we hadn't decided on a name until about an hour before her birth. She was going to be Lillian, Ella, or Charlotte. And we literally looked at the names on paper while playing cards during labor and decided less than an hour before she was born that if she were a girl (we never find out), she'd be called Charlotte.

So there's no rule about when you have to choose the name--so sit on them for a bit and see what you think in the end.

i like all your contenders, except hannah (but that's just a personal thing, nothing wrong with the name at all!) choosing names is sooooo difficult. we still don't have a name and i could give birth any day!
