Careful Sonji! I had swollen feet at the end of my pregnancy and kept telling people I had Shrek feet, it occured to me one day that I'm marking my baby, I was so worried he'd be born with big Shrek feet!

I like the name! Its cute! And it doesn't matter what other people think! I learned that one with my 2nd baby! Everyone adored my firsts name...Hailey but then I got all sorts of crap for my 2nd daughters name...Harlee Madisson. People gave me a hard time and would try to change my mind...nope sorry stayed...then after she was born and named my FIL insisted on calling her Maddie cause he hated Harlee...so all his friends didn't know who I was talking about when I would say Harlee....ugh it would royally piss me off! He finally came around after I insisted on Harlee...but still....Its mine and my husbands choice and no one elses!

Ok, I have to be honest with you. When I hear Gus I think either 'Gas' or Gus Gus on Cinderella. So I don't like it. BUT When I first heard you named your son Dewey, I didn't like that either. But now that he has gotten older, and he is just so cute and his name fits him perfect. I actually love the name Dewey now!

So I think you should name him what you and DH like, not anyone else. They will get used to it sooner or later

At first I hated it, but then I said it outloud and decided I liked it. Its very cute and when I think about a little boy that would have that name I think he would be very sweet and playful. All that really matters is that you and your husband like the name. Who cares what anyone else thinks. For the people that don't like it, I bet it will grow on them rather quickly.
