We are having an issue finding a bottle that works for Presley. I have bought several different bottles and everytime Presley puts it in her mouth she spits a ton out. It just runs out. All the nipples I have used are slow flow. I have tried Avent, Ventair, Evenflo, Parents Choice, Soothie. What else should I try? Do they make Premmie bottles or nipples with a smaller hole? I have checked walmart, kmart, target and BRU and cant find any that says premmie. Not sure they even make them. I just feel like Presley is gonna drown or something. One feeding and she will soak an entire bid or burp cloth. Ugh just frustrating...Please help!

Why do you think she's spitting it out? Is it really flowing too fast, or is there another problem, like it doesn't taste quite the same, not the same temperature, she's in a different position, etc? I think I'd try modifying some of those things before moving on to another bottle, because it doesn't sound like the "flow" is actually the problem. How long does she nurse on each side? My boobs had supersonic milk flow and my kids would only nurse 6-10 minutes on each side and be full (which always really worried me at the beginning). They were very impatient with the bottle. Is she nursing for a long time on each side? Maybe you could let your breasts get more full before you nurse to get her used to the faster flow?

ohhh I had this problem with DS #2! Dr Brown was the only one that worked with him....

he would suck and sound like he was gagging! then around a month old he all worked out and he really got the hang of it-- I had been breast and bottle- and then I just went to bottle-- I think he was the standard case of nipple confusion!
