Default I have a question

I am opting to bottle feed but people are asking me what formula. Do you as the Mom get to choose what formula or the Hospital Does?

I think cause they want to start buying some for me to have.

Help.

Hospitals will usually start the baby off with some type of formula, Similac, Enfamil what ever. Then you can switch brands after a few weeks or stick with the one that was initially give. When my daughter was born she started off on the Enfamil Lipil. At about two months old we switched her over to the Good Start.

I registered for formula (Similac Advanced) that way I had some in the house in case breastfeeding didnt work out (which it didnt). So I chose. I know that my hospital had Similac as well so It was nice we didnt have to switch him.

With dd1 I started her off on Enfamil Lipil w/ Iron and it caused issues with her so I ended up switching over to Nestle Good Start Supreme and it was great! With dd2 I am b/fing, but had to supplement with Nestle Good Start Supreme Probiotics and she loved it too. Once I stop b'fing her I will be putting her on the Nestle Good Start Supreme. I like it because it has those comfort proteins to help there little tummies digest it easier.

At the hospital I work at we only carry Enfamil, Similac, and Good Start. Unless your are on WIC (Women's, Infants, and Childrens) then you choose, if you are on WIC then it's Good Start for TN and Similac for VA.
