I use a loosly wadded paper towel to do it. This way you can still push the air out easily if you burp the baby when the bottle is halfway done. Oh, and I use the target brand drop in liners. They work just as well (no leaks yet) and are cheaper!

It only takes about 10 seconds to push the air out, but sometimes you do need to use something longer than a finger to help the air out.

I have 4 children and use the playtex ones for all of them, they are the only ones I used...I love them!
