Well we nursed for 2 years and I am very proud of that, especially since Dh wanted me to wean her when she was 1 year. I am kind of sad that the nursing bond is gone, but I believe we were both ready. DD was down to bedtime and naptime on weekends, she was literally nursing for about 10 minutes a day. There was some crying last night, but I was in bed with her and I patted and comforted her and it didn't take her as long as I thought it would to go to sleep. So I guess I am no longer a bfing mommy.

I am sure that it was hard to stop with the bf, but WOW, what a great job you did, nursing for 2 Years! WTG, MOMMY!!!
