Blankets and nursing Breastfeeding Message Board

I bought a nursing cover about two weeks ago and have used it a few times. It's a great cover, but within minutes of me putting it on Preston unlatches and when I put him back on he unlatches again within minutes.

Do some babies just not like to nurse under a blanket? Is it just something he needs to get used to?

Some babies don't like to be covered up. A friend of ours said none of her kids would tolerate being under a blanket when eating. Neither of mine really cared (although dd hasn't eaten in an area other than home in a LONG time, so I don't know how she'd do now!) So it might just depend on the baby!

I'm sure if he gets used to being covered up he'll be fine
