Erin will only take the playtex dropins with the latex nipples. We tried to change her to silicone nipples many times! A friend of mine who bf's and bottle feeds when away told me her son will only take the ones Erin does too.

my ds will not take any bottle unless it's as a toy that he plays with. when he was real young I got him to take the playtex dropins once or twice but we dont use bottles so he has not got use to them at all.

Jen- they are the gerber clearviews-- and they are 2.99 for a 3 pack

and I read on a few sites that they are BPA free.... so... we went with them.... the nipple does collapse a bit-- just for the one or 2 bottles she gets a day it's no problem...

i tried quite a few..finally the only thing she would take (and its a fight to get her to take it) were the platex drop ins with the latex nipple...she flat ot refused my beloved Nuk nipples or the silicon nipples.

im pretty sure they are not BPA free...but she uses them so infrequently, it honestly doesnt bother me. DS used all kinds of colored bottles and he's still alive.

I'm with you Holly... Avents are not BPA free, but she only gets maybe 6-8 bottles a week...
