give formula during the day, and nurse only at night?

I am wanting to maybe do this if it is possible. I don't mind making bottles during the day, but at night I like to nurse. My only problem might be when Keagan drops his 3 am feeding.

Just wonderig if this is possible, and how do you go about keeping your milk up for those few feedings?

yes... it's possible... but only if the baby isn't very picky.

I give Maddy EBM in bottles during the day and nurse her at night for her 3am feeding. It's no problem for us - she's never been picky about bottles or boob - but I pump 4x/day to keep up my supply and make her bottles. I'm not sure you could maintain your milk by only BFing 1x/day.

He will go between breast/bottle, but he does love to nurse.

I tried to give him a few bottles today, because Sundays are busy for us, and he started not wanting them.

He will take an occasional one I guess. I am afraid if I wanted to switch to bottles I should have done it earlier.
