Question In desperate need of advice

I don't know what to do about Logan. He eats and eats and eats! And now its toware he isn't sleeping at night. I nurse him to sleep...he sleeps for maybe an hour then wakes again to nurse more. Then he wakes about every hour to 2 hours after that. Last night for instance he went to bed at 8 woke at 9:30, 11, 12, 1:30, 4, 5:30 and was awake for the day at 8. I barely get any sleep anymore. He's eating 3 meals a day and still nurses about 2-3 times between each meal. Am I doing something wrong? Should I be giving him more foods? Is he eating because my supply is messed up? What is going on here? I would like to add that its something that didn't just start up like a week ago...this has been going on for almost a month now. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appriciated.

It might be a growth spurt. He might be ready for solids (or more) by now -- or a combination of the 2.
Sometimes, their teeth hurt them when they're teething and for some odd reason, sucking makes the gums feel better. You could try a little tylanol one night and see if it helps...
You can also try a pacifier ----
that worked wonders for my DS (and DD) who still is an eating machine.

IA that it may be a growth spurt and I would just hang in there, hard as that sounds.

I would also consider feeding him a good meal before you nurse him to bed. That may tide him over better. I hope this eases up soon - I can totally relate. I know how tired you are..

Marilyn ~ I've been in the same boat as you for awhile now. Last night was the first night that I can ever remember with kaitlyn sleeping until 3 for a feeding and she got up the next time at 7 for the day. I feel like a new woman today!!!
I was getting up like you every other hour and OMG does it take a toll on you!!!!!! DH fed DD her breakfast yesterday which usually is 1/4 c cereal and thought that she was also eating a 1/2 a mini jar of food as well. I am going to think that is the trick & I am going to give her a little that for breakfast again today and hope that it works for another good night sleep for me!!! Maybe Logan's ready for some snacks or a little more food.

he usually eats a bowl of oatmeal cereal mixed with apple juice in the morning...then i give him a wagon wheel cookie for a snack in between that and lunch. for lunch he has a jar of veggies with a cup of water. then like last night he ate rice for dinner. I didn't know if maybe I was feeding him TOO much or what. He has been teething, but even with oragel and tylenol he still has been waking up.
would it have anything to do with nursing him to sleep? and whenever he wakes up roughly at 2ish i put him in bed with us...would he be getting too used to that and not want to sleep in his crib? All I know is I am so flippin tired. I need some sleep.
