I had been nursing Athemia 3 times a day, morning, naptime and bedtime. Now she only gets it in the morning. I started this on Saturday. So far so good (although twice she fell asleep in the car and last night she was too tired to put up much of a fight!) I guess the real test will be later on in the week. She likes to throw fits when she doesn't get what she wants (I've already dealth with a couple fits at bedtime BEFORE I started weening her!)

The morning feeding is going to be the hardest! She just WON'T snuggle in the morning

She wakes up early though (later the last couple mornings) and sicne I don't really wanna get up at 6:30 in the morning, I always take her to bed with me and feed her there.

Im glad it's going good so far!! I just now started weaning Lincoln the past few months. we are doing it slowly. we first night weaned and then dropped one at a time after that. Now he only nurses once at bedtime and once at nap time. These two have been a struggle to break I just need to pick one and work on it. lol

Yeah, Athemia still cries and whines and I've been tempted a few times to give in, but then I remind myself that I'd have to start all over again, kinda snaps me back into reality very quickly
