How do you hold your baby while breastfeeding?

I have always used the basic cradle hold and at night the lying down position, It took a few months for him to get a bit bigger and get better at the latch before I could do the lying down one!

i only use cradle hold, too. it's the only one that worked for me.

I used a cradle hold (with Boppy pillow when he was a newborn) mostly- but I nursed while lying down at night (and when/if I rested during the day).
I couldn't do the football hold- didn't feel right.

Oh, I just remembered- I nursed Nicky a few times while he sat facing me on my knee. But that wasn't until he got bigger- and busier! LOL

I've always used the football hold with Avery since Day 1... but she's getting way too long to do that, I have to scrunch her up to fit her in most chairs or whereever I'm nursing her, so recently I've started the cradle hold and I definatly don't like it as much... but she's doing okay with it...
