my son is almost 27 months and were just now weaning. he never took formula or a bottle for me. He was nursing only once at night for the past 5 or 6 months but now this week it's just one or twice total because he is way to old and Im so ready to wean! lol

How long did you breastfeed or express? BF (nursing & pumping) exclusivily until about 4 months when we started supplementing w/formula. Kept going that way until my supply slowly tapered into not enough to be worth the time it took to pump! DD was already starting to fight me during nursing & cutting teeth, so we officially stopped everything at 9 months.

Do you wish you would've went longer? I wish I could have gone longer with out supplementing!

Did you have a certain amount of time that you were determined to do it for? Yes, 6 months, but was honestly proud when I made to 3! It was convenient & more cost effective, so I kept it up. (not too mention better for both us!)

What made you stop when you did? See first question.

I nursed my first daughter for about 18 months (the bedtime feeding was a pistol to wean her from).

My 2nd daughter was born 4 weeks early so it took her a while to figure out how to latch on. She is 4 months now and actually started nursing about 2 months ago. Prior to that I was pumping exclusively and feeding her that.
