I know the feeling Nichole. I have to strain to be nice and gently promote BFing without being too pushy. Babies can survive on formula. But why survive when they can thrive. One of my dh's co-workers has a baby Charlotte's age who is always sick. She asks how Charlotte is doing and my dh always says she's fine. She's never (knock on wood) been sick. We both attibute that to BFing.

One of the ladies in my LLL just recently weaned her 26 month old. She had her first illness after being weaned.

I know how you feel! I get really mad with women who don't even try because "I need my sleep" or " it's too much trouble". Well sorry to break it to you girl, but you had a baby, what did you expect?! Why even have a baby if you're not going to do the very best for them you can?
