It's Sunday night and Alex hasn't nursed since Tuesday night. He has a raging respiratory infection and hasn't been interested in nursing because he's uncomfortable. So I didn't even offer these last two nights--and he didn't ask.

He's 23 months old so I know it's totally okay that we're done but I LOVED our time together and I'm sad to see it go.

I'll miss those special times together...and I don't like admitting that he's growing up.

I'm having a bit of a pity party, can you tell?

It's hard, especially when it's your last one and you realize you'll never be doing it again...unless you have a suprise baby like I am!

Okay, stop the presses. Last night before bed, he starting asking to nurse. DH and I kept looking at each other wondering what to do. He's such a cutie and I gave in...and it was WONDERFUL!

So maybe we're not done afterall!?
