Default I want her to wean...now.

Kathleen nurses more than a newborn. She is 21 months. I refuse to nurse her at night, although she still cries for me to allow it. So this morning, she nursed at 6AM, 7AM and it is now 9:30 and she has been crying and begging to nurse again. Yes, she had breakfast!!

I follow AP as much as I can, but every 1-2 hours is ENOUGH. My sons were weaned by this time. Has anyone been in this boat before?

Douglas weened himself completely by the time he was 14 or 15 months. Sienna is on her way there, and I think I could get her to snuggle to sleep instead of nursing her (might take a little extra time at first, but I think she'd be just fine... if she falls asleep in the car around nap/bed-time she just lays down with no problem)...

So I guess I'm no help! I hope you get some relief soon!!!

I am having the opposite problem. My daughter is 14 1/2 months old and is down to 1-2 nursings a day. I am sooooooooo sad that this might be the end. I wanted to nurse her till she was 2 but I dont see that happening (although she does really really love her 1-2 nursings that she does have).
