Unhappy Kaelyn has weaned.

She has stopped nursing totally now and slaps the breast when offered

We made it to 13 months and 2 weeks i know i should be proud but Im still sad

My baby girl is growing up.
Kaelyn has never had formula or taken a bottle she drinks from a straw or a sippy so I am well pleased with that

I'm so sorry. I'm right there with you. Kaedon and I have both been sick off and on for the last month and during that time he didn't feel like nursing/my supply drastically dropped and now he's done. I'm ok with it b/c it happened so casually.

you should be happy and proud!
I remember the first few weeks you were in tears practically because of that little 'sucker'

You are such a strong and determined woman.
It is because of all these things that I know that no matter what life hands you, you will always find a way to make it turnout great. You really are gifted at making lemonaid out of lemons.

It must be so bittersweet. You did a great job! I know you thought she was going to wean a couple times in earlier months. Glad she kept going until now for you!

I'm starting to wish that Ava would at least start nursing less often. I'm not ready to wean, and I know she isn't, but I would love to be down to only a couple of times a day. She still wants to nurse very often. Usually at least 6-8 times a day plus of course the frequent night nursing...

Good job on bf'ing Kaelyn so long! She just wants to be a big girl now Mommy!
