I just want to say that when my DS was born, he didn't latch on well at all. I was pumping 8 times a day and trying to get him to the breast. It was very frustrating to me because I thought that this thing was supposed to be so easy and "natural". I felt like a failure. But, eventually, he just got it! I didn't really do anything differently than you are doing and he got it. My lactation consultant said that sometimes babies just need to mature into breastfeeding. DS is now four months old and we are still nursing. You would never know that he had a problem. As a matter of fact, he doesn't really like the bottle anymore.

I went on this very long tangent (sorry) just to say, that I think you are doing a great job. Hopefully he'll get the hang of it soon.
