Oh my goodness ladies....I love traveling here in Germany with the kids. I have nursed several times in public (I am always discrete about it) and the people over here are great! no nasty looks....but then again what can you expect where it is legal to pull to the side of the road when traveling and pee in the bushes?

I have actually had several older women comment that I am doing such a good thing for my baby by giving her what God had intended for her to eat....took me a bit to figure out what they were saying because their English wasn't that good and my German is non-existent!

I never had a problem NIP & I did it all over. I don't know if my area is more relaxed about it or if I just never noticed anybody giving me evil looks!

I wouldn't even think of it around here. I know I am "allowed" but people would definitely say something and start an altercation.

I never had a problem, and I nursed Marek everywhere, particularly while dining in restaurants. The poor kid was always covered in food from my dropping it on him while he was eating. Dh used to joke that he could tell what I had for lunch just by looking at the baby

But seriously, I'm glad die deutsche volk are so supportive!
