  • I took Nicholas for a weight check today and he's gained 11 oz in the past 11 days. The nurse said he's right on target- they recommend a weight gain of an ounce per day.
    What's your opinion?

  • My doctor also said an ounce a day.

  • Yes, at least an ounce, some babies gain more.

  • We're STILL working on the "an ounce a day" notion with Charlotte. She gained 24oz in 30 days and the doc was still okay with that. We'll have her weighed again at the beginning of July and see how she's doing.

    Sounds like Nicholas is a picture-perfect gainer!
