I am so sick of my clogged ducts. I went to the doc on Monday- my regular ob-gyn was on call at the hospital and i saw someone else in the practice. I told her I have been having a regularly clogged duct and that I think the issue is a clogged pore on my nipple. She gave me antibiotics for my mastitis and sent me on my way.

I just finished the course of meds and it is already clogging again. Erin has even picked up a feeding lately, so it is not as if I am not nursing as much as usual. I am in a lot of pain and I just know it is going to get infected again. I am going to make an appt with my regular ob and see what he says.

(I am using compresses, massaging the area, using lansinoh, etc and nothing seems to work.)

so sorry about all the pain, maybe the ob will have a soultion. Can you stay on the antibiotics for an extra few weeks? maybe it had not cleared it all up yet!

I stopped pumping about a month and a half ago and all was well for a while. Now it seems to be getting worse than when she started sleeping through the night!
