Default Sore spot

I have a sore spot on one of my breasts. It's not really a knot or lump, but it is a little hard, but it hurts! It hurts even if Gus touches it or if I touch it. What do I do to fix it? Oh, and if I have breast issues, which dr do I see? My OB? Or a general practicioner?

Sounds like a clogged duct. Take a hot shower and massage the sore spot, then nurse on that side while massaging the sore spot. It should feel better in a few hours (may take overnight).

You can also try a damp diaper (damp with water--not urine!!) in the microwave for a small amount of time to heat it. Try applying that (or a heating pad but moist heat works best) for 10 minutes or so before he nurses.

Is it feeling better after trying the shower and the massage??
