do babies get more "efficient" with breast feeding? Basically when will my little guy be able to eat in under an hour?(which is how long it takes him now)

gosh, avery has never nursed that long... she nurses about 15-20 minutes on one side and is finished.. she only took to both breasts the first couple of times i ever nursed her...she guzzles though, she's a fast eater...

My daughter nurses on each side 5 min or less and has been doing this since about 7 or 8 months old. She always seems satisfied so I am assuming she is getting plenty. The hour thing doesnt last long. He should get better each week.

Lincoln took an hour to eat for the first 2 months and then he went to about half and hour and now at 7 months he can get all he needs on one side and in only 5 min!

I think he's doing a lot of comfort nursing right now since he's so little.
