  • That I'd still be BF after 2 years?

    Ryland turned 2 on Thursday

and here we are still breastfeeding.

He never had a bottle never had formula not once.

I didn't think we'd still be going at 2 years but here we are. Down to 2-3 feedings a day and trying to wean one of them.

I am very proud of us.

  • You have every right to be proud! That is a wonderful accomplishment!!

Mia has yet to have a bottle or formula (started drinking water from her cup at 7 months though!) and I too am really proud. I do wish that she would wean so that I could take my meds, but so far she is fighting it tooth and nail.

Some days we get off with only 3-4 feedings, but most she wants to nurse any time she falls, is tired, gets mad, is hungry, etc. If I let her, we would easily nurse 10 times a day or even a little more!!!

    I'm still working at it.
