Ya'll just let me know when you get sick of me!!

Seriously thanks for all the great advice!!!

Is it true about oatmeal building your milk supply? I eat it alot, do you think it would help keep your milk supply good? Or do ya'll think it's just an old wives tale all the way around?

I think it helped me. My MIL sent home oatmeal cookies during a growth spurt and I SWEAR it worked! I think for some old wives tales there are some truth to them.

well, there is a whole lot of anecdotal evidence to support the claim.

I think the absolute best thing to keep the supply up, though... is drinking water.
If you don't drink enough water, there's no 'liquid' for your body to turn it into milk. most people just don't realize how much they are really supposed to be drinking. You should be drinking one FULL tall glass of water with each nursing session. Plus more water in addition to that!

great advice! Drink drink drink! As for the oatmeal - I think anything high in protein or whole grains/oats is going to help any nursing mom saty healthy - and a healthy mom means a helthy supply.... but drink drink drink your water!
